I changed my header logo again. Everything was/is looking cluttered to me so I wanted to minimalist it a bit. Onward…

In honor of MY team… the San Francisco Giants… I give you some ORANGE!! At the end of post..Ok so it’s Halloween fabric but still, it’s the right color combo for what matters in October… WHOO HOO!!! GO GIANTS!!

Ok, I’m done. Wait… one more thing… If they win Game 5 tonight against the Phillies { Jaybird Quilts’ team }, boo! hiss!… then they advance to the World Series! Yeah. I know. I’m in TX Y’all and should be rooting for the Rangers but I’m a California native { DUDE }… queue Lyle Lovett singing “That’s Right! You’re Not From Texas” I do love me some Lyle Lovett and my adopted home of Austin.

The “Holda Buttload O’ Books” bookbag made it to my G O R G E O U S baby girl who is in Australia attending school. She sent me her modeling portfolio…heh.




Oh and that beautiful hard-to-describe gingery-coppery hair color is all hers. Never been touched by any color or chemicals.
Then of course she had to give me THE FACE… don’t know where she gets her snark from . . .

Then she blew me kisses. Sniff. I miss you Baby Girl . . .



Really R E A L L Y miss you bigtime.

I’m sewing sun hats for some special little munchkins. This is the first one. I used some old fabric from my stash. . . O L D . . . this fabric was used when my now 20yr old daughter was a munchkin! {so I’ve had this fabric about 15yrs??}
I still need to steam the Yo-Yo flower into submission. Bad Yo-Yo!

Here are the rest of the pictures of the tote/ knitter’s/ sewist’s/ carry-a-buttload-of-books /…BIG bag. It measures approximately 17 inches x 15 inches and the gusset is a generous 5 inches deep. Pockets inside and out. I will be taking custom orders soon.

This bag is a gift so I can’t show all of it… yet.
