Not quilting. I got sidetracked. I know. Those that know me are screaming “SHOCKER!” with a sarcastic tone. I have reasons. My concentration level got gobsmacked. My son…yeah, THAT one…crashed his bike… again…crash number… I don’t remember but at least it did not involve a car. Face planted. Front teeth broken in half. What am [...]

Yes I was out of town… but I was out of it blog-wise prior to leaving. The end of July beginning of August were…uh…let’s just say they were eventful, stressful and joyful. Our dearest, sweetest friend fell 18 ft off a roof {he is an insurance adjuster like my Mr. Coffee}. He broke a LOT [...]

The “Holda Buttload O’ Books” bookbag made it to my G O R G E O U S baby girl who is in Australia attending school. She sent me her modeling portfolio…heh. Oh and that beautiful hard-to-describe gingery-coppery hair color is all hers. Never been touched by any color or chemicals. Then of course she [...]

He is banged up, bruised up, road-rashed real pretty and has a considerable gash along his temple. Other than that he is fine. Yes, he wore his helmet. Today’s [...]

This is the quilt I mentioned in my previous post. I am almost finished. Just need to do the hand stitching on the binding. I will give the Process report and more pics later today or tomorrow. The quilt was a gift to my son for his….gulp…30th birthday. He’s sooooo old!

Ahh Saturday. Today is a special one. My #2 Son’s / #3 Child’s birthday is today. I watched Mt. Saint Helens erupt whilst I was waiting to do my own eruption a week later! The birthday plans are delayed a week. He has to work and I am babysitting all day. I am finishing up [...]

Yeah, I know, I said there would be pictures of the wedding. Blame Mr. Coffee hogging using my camera…again. Arrggghhh. Better late than never. So here’s proof… The theme of the wedding was built around the quilt, pictured later, that the Bride’s grandmother made for her before she passed away. The quilt top was finished [...]
