A Tribute to Bonnie Leman

Anyone recognize this book?

How about these?

My interest in quilts began a long time ago. My actual quilting not quite as long but still long enough to be an oldie. I spent most of the years making quilts for my babies and gifts for others.
When I became interested in quilting in the early/mid 80s { yes, I’m THAT old } Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine {now called Quilter’s Newsletter} was my favorite source of inspiration. I spent many hours drooling and dreaming over the beautiful quilts adorning the pages while thinking ‘I will never be able to quilt like that’
Bonnie Leman was the founder of Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine. She passed away on September 4th, 2010. I am thankful for her contribution to the world of quilting for over 30 years. Her magazine helped in the quilt revival that I believe began in the late 1960’s.
I never met her except through that wonderful resource. I still have many of my QNMs and my Log Cabin Quilts book.
My condolences to her family and a big thank you Ms. Bonnie Leman. I know you inspired many of us and will continue to do so.
