Once again I have gone down the what-if rabbit hole
{me? sidetracked? never}
I was thinking….how small can one go with hexies? I used the hexagon generator and plugged in my order for 1/2 inch hexagons…with a side of crazy. I’m on a diet so I turned down the fries.

Look like normal size…the kind you could make a whole quilt with? Ha! No way. I am patient but not THAT patient. They are soooo teeny tiny! Fit in a small, NARROW shot glass. Why was there a shot glass near my sewing??? My blog and I don’t have to answer that. I kid, I kid… I got it out of a cupboard. Never use them. I mean, why bother with such a small beverage??!!

What am I making with this? Can’t tell you yet.
I set my shot glass hexies aside and surfed some blogs. Low and behold Texas Freckles had tiny hexies on her site. So I blame her for enabling me once again and cursing me with hexie fever. She has such cute ideas!

Those are adorable. A gal here is piecing 2 tiny strips together and then making hexagons so it looks like a border. Insane but cool!
You must have the most dextrous fingers to sew such small things.
Everything is cuter when it’s tiny.

is this what your cute little hexies will grow into??
Thanks for the link to the graph paper generator! That’s so helpful. I’m going to take my first stab at some hexies!
