So… I told you of my ignorance and the official Coffee & Cotton SBTSOMP Method in my previous post. I took my improper assemblage of string piecing and made what any strong, able and determined woman would make…. drumroll……….
Voilà! A Potholder! Eh, I know, no biggy, but it still makes me happy.

You crack me up! Hey, you could have photographed the potholder closer and then say you made a bedspread! I’d have believed you because my baby sister never lies.

I think it’s really cute. Ever since I found that batting with the silver stuff to reflect heat, I will never buy store potholders again. My homemade ones never burn my hands. But mine aren’t as cute as yours. I want to make some zakka inspired potholders similar to what you made.
